The following will be part of the presentation on Friday, 24th Feb:

  • A working model (experiment) of a form of energy
  • A poster describing the form of energy used in the model and procedural text about the experiment
  • Sources of energy (each group has chosen one source)
  • Meaning and use of the source
  • Advantages and disadvantages of the source
  • How will/how much that source be used in the future
  • Data about the usage of the source from at least 3 countries
  • Data about the usage of the source in Indonesia
  • Ways to conserve energy

Learning Engagements week 5 / Term Three (6 – 10 Feb, 2017)

Energy conservation:

  •   Discuss and explain ways to conserve energy
  • Students show in form of a role play, mind map, graphic organizers
  • They fill in the chart on when they save or waste energy
  • they write a paragraph how energy reach their homes or other places from an energy source.

Draw a picture of me keeping a bubble up in the air

Discussion in groups followed by whole class.

Watching the respiratory system on Brain pop.

Noting down the science terminology for the various parts or organs that function as a system. Students will explore sites to gather and understand information related to lungs.

Classroom discussions and explanations followed by poster making about the Respiratory System.

  • How are arteries, veins and capillaries connected and work together?How blood circulates in the heart, to the body and back to the heart? Where can you find your pulse? and how?
  • There are four chambers of the heart. The arteries carry the blood away from the body. The veins bring back the blood from the body to the heart.
